Next week, we’ll be running something different on the Nose: Flash fiction. In this third month of the year, it seems right for these tales to feature three main characters, and to set the word limit at three hundred words.
We’ll publish these next week from March 19th until March 23rd. We already have several authors lined up, but if anyone else is interested in contributing, please contact the editor here.
There are no other rules apart from length. I considered inventing a theme, but in the end decided that the format was already restrictive enough. Here are two examples of flash fiction I enjoyed:
